Interpretation 1: The song has no meaning. "This particular one is literally about people trying to interpret Hachi's song. In a he just wrote up a song for the sake of deliberately tempting us (troll) to have a go at deciphering it.
-524- It skips 1 and 3. “No 13” read in Japanese is "no imi” which translates to “no meaning/purpose” in English."

Interpretation 2: A person is on the edge of insanity. They are a human Matryoshka- you know those Russian wooden dolls that has a slightly smaller doll inside each doll? Each doll is like many layers of skin hiding Miku's and Gumi's true feelings. "In a sense, it is used as a metaphor for the many different layers of "insanity" that makes it hard for them to maintain a grasp on aspects of life.... hey meet to attempt to support each other but they hurt themselves more and more by peeling the layers. They dance to hide their depression and in the end their “patch-up” destroys them and their insanity cannot be contained. Gumi suicides at the end after acknowledging that the way she lives through self-deception undermines true happiness. It is hinted that Miku finds help."
Other- just in case. "He [Hachi] said he comes up with a meaning as he writes, and sort of hopes that people get it, if he doesn’t reveal it at all."
