well it started in a party where me n my cousin saw each other. she was dancing and called me on to dance with her and so i did.the party ended and so it was sunday. Afterwards that day i notice that i felt a weird feeling of love to her but i knew we were cousins but what i really want to know is it wrong to date your second cousin.
YOU ARE COMPLETELY NORMAL. There are many uninformed people in the U.S. regarding cousin relationships. Visit www.cousincouples.com and read the info. There was also an article in the New York Times regarding cousins marrying and having children. The risk is VERY low.

By the way, my 1st cousin and I have been married 8 yrs and are expecting our first daughter. She is perfectly healthy in every way! (and we were married in the Catholic Church, which was fully aware. :)

To the poster: It's pretty common. I think after the 3rd cousin it should be OK but I wouldn't date any of mine because 1) Most of them are like brothers to me (I'm a straight female so girls don't apply in this situation) and 2) The one's I am interested in I'm only mildly interested in--not enough to risk family drama. I'm also in a serious relationship with my cousin. And I couldn't be happier. All our friends know and its just a common fact between us all. I say, do what makes you BOTH happy.

don't do it, how are u going to explain this to your parents!!!??? You may be second cousins, but your parents are first cousins with this girls parents. imagine telling the story of how u two met to your kids.
