Marriage is a waste of time for men

Is it normal that I think marriage is nothing more than a piece of paper and a bit of extra jewellery, and is basically a financial safeguard for the wife should things go tits up?

Like, getting married changes the square root of jack shit in your actual relationship, but after the relationship is over, or if one of you dies, that's when it has huge implications.

I think I'd only consider marrying a woman if I was in my 70s or 80s.

Well , if you wait until you are in your 70's or 80's , you will be married a lot less time , with a shorter life span.
You also wont be able to have sex in your 70's and 80's.
    Not without ED meds.
But , if you are having sex in your 70's and 80's , be careful that she doesnt give you a massive coronary.

Who says you can't have sex in 70 and 80's?

    • You say that as if it's not physically possible to have sex without marrying the woman you're planning to have sex with first...

I will have kids someday, I just don't think marriage makes a blind bit of difference...

Refusing to marry doesn't neccessarily mean you love your partner any less. It just means your relationship isn't legally binding.
