Male hooked up with best male friend - what will other friends think?
I am a 25 year old guy. I have had this best male friend for about 10 years now. We have so much in common - same hobbies, same humour, same everything. We went to school and university together. We are part of a very close group of maybe six friends, all male. He came out about three years ago to me first and then to everyone else. I had always known. One of our friends in particular had a hard time coming to terms with it.
Anyway I hooked up with the friend in question about a year and half ago now. It was amazing. I have always had feelings for guys and particularly for him. There's always been something between us. I always knew he fancied me and vice versa. Anyway what was casual between us has since become very serious. I am in love with him, always have been to be honest. We are in a proper relationship but only two other friends know (I'm sure most of our friends wouldn't be surprised). What I'm nervous about is that our close male friends will be freaked out, particularly the one I mentioned above who found it hard when my boyfriend came out. This guy is my other best friend. What are people's thoughts? Do you think it's selfish of us? Is it normal to fear what other friends will think?
