Makeup 24/7

Is it normal that I think that I always need to have makeup on to go out of the house? Without it, I feel like I can't leave the house.

    Same thing, unfortunately.
As a young teenager I was in an accident causing boiling oil to splash all over my face and neck, leaving some of my skin permanently scarred and discolored, so I hardly have a choice. Also in my early teens, I went through a "goth" phase when I used cheap black lipstick, which somehow left my lips completely without color, as in white. So again, no choice. Most of my friends who I've known since high school have never seen me without makeup.

I used to be the same way!! I would wear it do often all the time but then my bf said he liked it better when I was bummed out do I relaxed n now I feel comfortable to lounge around the house or go to the store real quick without any makeup on(: I'm sure you look beautiful without makeup(; but I suppose it's normal(:

I'm sadly the same way. I don't feel like I need to put on a bunch of dark eye makeup or anything, but I atleast need to cover dark circles and any blemishes. And I definitely wear mascara every day. If I don't atleast do that I'll be too paranoid that people are staring at my imperfections. It makes no sense because I don't go out in public and stare at other people or notice their pimples at all, I think some girls are just too hard on themselves.

I use to feel the same way. I feel like, as a younger girl I felt more strongly about always having to have make-up on... because I always thought everyone was looking at me (and maybe my imperfections)...

Then I realized, people aren't always looking at me.. it's in my head. Also, when you grow older, I feel you gain more confidence and don't need it ;)

It's just a personal preference, but totally normal.

      Good job. -thumbs up-

What she said... people aren't always looking at you. No one cares what you look like.

idk..do you have bad skin? Try going to a dermatologist to make your natural skin beautiful so that u dont need makeup all the time.
