Make a pencil case at age 21?

Hi I'm a 21 year old man. I'm very artistic and I love art. I've had an obsession with this design I've liked for years. The design is a vivid blue cloud with the letters dream spelled out in Arial style. I first saw this design on this girl's 3-ring binder pencilcase in 8th grade. The only part of this design that I liked was the dream part of the pencil case because everything else on there was girly, words like "angel" and "princess". I took the dream part and began to make my design in Illustrator adding words like "inspire" and "imagine". I really like the design and I want it to be on something I would use a lot, but a pencil case is kind of childish right? I was going to make my own 3-ring binder pencilcase made of denim fabric and transfer the image from Illustrator by using iron-on paper. What else could I make beside a pencilcase? Someone help me out!! Is it normal for a 21 year old man to make a pencil case?

Totally normal. o.o I'm 21 and still use a pencil case, and I probably always will. It's the easiest way I know to carry my pencils and pens and various arting things with me

I love functional art. If you are an artist and have the need for a case to store your utensils, you may as well make it pretty to look at.

You could also try screen printing and make it a t-shirt, put it on a tote bag, or even a pillow.

When it comes to art, everything is normal.

You could make a frame to fit a mirror with inspirational stuff written or painted on it. You could make a stencil that reads "DREAM" and paint it on your walls, mirrors or windows. That way you could see it every day and it might inspire you. Or make a flag and applique DREAM on it with some clouds or whatever you want. That might be nice. A pencil case is kind of weird, unless you have a need for one or something. If you'd never use it or see it then what's the point?
