Lucid dreaming so easily.

I've read that lucid dreaming takes time and patience but I've pretty much skipped most of the starting process (like testing in real life if you're awake and making a habit of it). I just tell myself before I sleep that I'll realise I'm dreaming and then I do in my dreams. Last night decided I wanted to fly and told myself confidently before I fell asleep that I would. Sure enough, in my dream I tried to fly and succeeded. is it normal and is it this easy for anyone else? please comment below.

I have one every few weeks. If I do alot of reading around the subject for a few days I find I lucid dream a lot more frequent. I had a dream within a dream the other week and it is the longest lucid dream I have ever had.

That's bullshit. I feel like this post is taunting me. I've been trying for about a year, and I've had very limited success. I wish I could lucid dream as easily as you. Do you have any tips? Do you just realize you're dreaming every night? I'm trying to learn that. I can't successfully have a WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream) but I have tried.

    • I read that you should keep a dream diary but I cba with that. I do tend to think back to my dreams after I wake up though even when its not a lucid dream but mostly because I believe in dream interpretation. I think maybe you shouldn't try so hard and they may come easier

  • I only ever lucid dream. Something about a strongly active consciousness even when sleeping.

I don't always lucid dream, but I generally am able to if I want to. Sometimes, it gets old or I feel like I have had enough of it and I kind of switch it off. However, if I want to lucid dream I can and never got into doing things like reality checks, etc. It just comes naturally for me too

Me too. I didn't even know it was a 'thing' until more recently, I guess I just thought it was how dreams were for everyone but it turns out I was lucid dreaming all along.
