Love your same sex teacher who is 9 years older than you

Yeah, It's normal. You may want to tell your teacher about your feelings. It may be an awkward moment, but you'll feel better once you say it. Even if your teacher doesn't feel the same about you, once the moment has passed, you can move past this (or it may turn out to be a love or lust relationship). I asked my high school music teacher on a date, and he kindly said 'no'. I took music for 3 years, so I had enough time to develop a crush, ask him, and then move on. It hurt my feelings knowing he didn't want to, but I was later OK with it.

Then, there was my high school history teacher I "loved". I wanted to marry him, but we only had sex. I also had a female teacher in college come out to me, and told me she found me attractive... and about a year later (when I didn't have her as a teacher), we had a 3some with my boyfriend at the time, and had a few one-on-one lesbian experiences... but we never developed a relationship beyond sex.

You're feelings are normal, love or lust. Sometimes it's possible for a teacher-student relationship to work out, but other times, it's better as a fantasy. It's not good to be depressed over something that may or may not happen. Live your life, and be happy with whoever you want, and who wants you too.
