I have been on an abusive marriage for 8 months too long. I should have gotten out much earlier. I met a guy through a close friend at my godchilds baby shower. He treats me better than any bf ever has. As soon as the divorce was finalized we were official. I think it might be to fast but I believe the divorce was long over due and that we were supposed to be together. Is it normal?
Eight months too long is better than too late, if you know what I mean. My friend just got married to a guy that beats her silly over the stupidest things.
It could be that, yes, you were supposed to meet this other guy and that he may even be your saving grace from you bad marraige. I would say it's normal to fell this way. Congradulations on your new found happiness. It's a new life for you to begin. Leave your ex husband in the past, because that's where he belongs.
