    Happens to me all the time. I can usually tell when I'm going to love a song after hearing the first few bars.
    I'd say the last time this happened was with a song called "And I Am Suffering" by Virgin Black.

    My absolute favorite songs, as I feel like they could have been written by me or someone a lot like me...

    "Flaming Telepaths" and "Burnin for You" by Blue Oyster Cult
    "Wing Stock" by Ashley MacIsaac
    "One Track Mind" by Papa Roach
    "This is the New Shit" by Marilyn Manson
    "Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace (I read Adam Gontier's commentary about his experiences that he was writing the song about and they're almost a perfect match to an experience I've had)
    "The Crystal Ship" by The Doors

    So many more I could list but I've listed a shitton as is.

    Is it any wonder that my mind's on fire, imprisoned by the thought of what to do? Is it any wonder that my joke's an iron? And the joke's on you...
