Is it normal to have a burning/stinging feeling while having sex for the first time? I'm a female by the way. I've also never used tampons. The pain only lasted for a second then it would start to burn/sting. Is it because my hymen was getting stretched? I'm kinda worried because I've never heard anyone talk about a burning or stinging feeling when they lost their virginity. So is this normal?

    Vulvodnyia or hypersensitivity.
    Could also be an allergic reaction to sperm
    Could also be just being the first time you weren't really lubricated enough first (ie require more foreplay)

    I wouldn't be too concerned unless its constant after every sexual encounter.

    It could be a lot of things. Your man's penis could have been too large and your vaginal opening too tight. Did you use lube? There could have been a lack of lubrication. The hymen when torn does tend to hurt so, that could have been it too.
