I have hypothyroidism. Lots of people have conditions that makes it harder for them to loose weight without expensive medical treatment, the likes of which they often can't afford.

    • I know that a percentage of these people have medical issues but it's a small percentage. I think most if not all of their medical problems are because of their weight, not the other way around, and there's no way that they have even a halfway decent diet and exercise program in the first place. They get no physical activity, they pay no attention to portion control, yet they claim they try. They claim they don't eat that much. Bullshit. And who pays for all this? Some of them may work, from home no doubt, but the rest? Disability checks and enablers.

In order to be interested in losing up to 400 pounds, one must be at least around 550 to begin with. No way that's all from glandular issues. These people had shitty diets and lifestyles from the start. Sometimes it's a little understandable depending on what they have gone through in their life, but again, it's really just one bad decision after another.

I'm not trying to bash these people, I know quite a few huge people and they are great. The decisions they make about what they put in their bodies, however, aren't so great.

I was just a little surprised to see that number flaunted on a cover. Even an extra 100 pounds is way too much. Effort is what it takes. And a lot of it. These people don't want to try. It's too much work and that's just plain lazy.

I don't spend my days getting worked up over obese people and I don't go straight ahead and judge them when I see them, I almost feel bad about their quality of life. The ones who can't wash themselves or wipe their own ass. They did this to themselves and no one else.
