Long distance advice ?

I'm in scouts and I really like this girl from the organization. There's an LA group and SF group, I'm in the Los Angeles group. She lives in SF.
We've been talking a lot recently and I think she knows I have a crush on her. I've been single for over a year and I'm depressed and she just seems like the perfect girl for me. The only problem is the distance, AND she has a douche bag boyfriend who treats her like shit.
What should I do ??

    I have had a long distance and unless you do meet this person periodically it's almost impossible. Mine was one of the most stressful 4 months of my life and I will never do it again. That being said go for it man if you like her and it will help you with your depression it's worth it.

    I don't believe in long distance relationships personally, so i say you should drop it. Chances are you probably will never meet, and somebody will end up getting hurt.

    Tell her you like her and you might be friendzoned. Show her that you're the man she needs somehow, but don't make it obvious you're trying to demonstrate something. Make yourself desirable, don't just be her friend.

    I on the other hand think you should tell her how you feel and how you feel about her boyfriend without crossing any lines and hopefully she will understand...
