Living for 10-year reunion

When I graduated high school, I vowed I would be back for the 10-year reunion with a vengance. I was picked on all throughout school, since I was kinda nerdy.

This is it. My 10 year reunion is the summer. I am pumped. I have been living my life for this year - trying to improve everything about myself, etc.

Is it normal to live your life, pretty much for your 10-year reunion? I want to blow them away. I am no longer the shy little geek. As Toby Keith would say, "How do you like me now?" (That's been my theme song for the past 10 years, leading up to this year).

I know you're supposed to live your life for yourself, but I can't help but want to blow their minds at how much better I've become (mostly looks-wise).
