Is it normal to like heavy metal like Pantera and King Diamond, yet also enjoy bands like Coldplay and Radiohead when I want to mellow out?
Yes,I go from Nelly Furtado to R.E.M.,to Cream and Nina Simone, to Nirvana and Muse,and to SOAD and Smashing Pumpkins.
I like some rap stuff too,so it's definately possible :p

sure i even listen to different language music. i have 7 different languages on my iPod. korean is my fav right now.
I used to be into both DevilDriver and children's Japanese pop. It's normal, and makes you an awesome, open-minded person ;)
Man, you aren't even scraping on the surface of eclectic musical taste. There are so many more diverse musical oddities than metal and semi-alternative mainstream rock.
What you like is in a completely normal, boring, regular range.
Those are just four examples. I listen to literally everything. There isn't enough space to list every last artist I enjoy. Your music tastes aren't "boring" if you don't just listen to some bizarre obscure electro-industrial band from Europe. I can't fucking believe how stupid some of you are.

Normal, i listen to everything from 50's doo wop to some rap music, i just love music and thing that every genre has something good to offer even bluegrass music.
