Light straight-girl / lesbian foreplay ?

The other night I was in bed with my boyfriend and an agressive lesbian we're practically best friends with and extremely comfortable with.

She slept next to me...and we played with eachother.

Nothing Below the waist.
No tongue kissing either.

We just kind of explored eachother I guess?
But she's a lesbian.. 20 years older than me so I don't think shes that inexperienced (like myself) to think of it as exploring.

Anyways we did alot of caressing eachother's skin.. holding/playing with eachother's hands..touching eachother's abdomen area...playing with eachother's hair.

Everything was kept ABOVE the waist.
The next day I spoke to her on the phone and she described what had happend as nothing serious..and not to worry... to which i agreed because I thought it was so childish and innocent but not in a bad way.

We both agreed that we played together that night "like 2 young inexperienced children" when they go and play 'doctor' or 'house' .

I think I need some closure on this subject because I'm pretty inexperienced and feel really stupid because I don't understand it.

Do people do this (straight or gay)?
Is it specifically only lesbians who can get close like this to another woman and see nothing weird about it ?

I'm in a relationship
She's in a relationship.

So it just makes me wonder...

Does your bf know? if you think it would bother him, then it was probably not a good idea. but then again, it was no big deal. if it was a more of a friend type deal then its something to be maybe concerned about. if he;s cool with it then dont worry. either way i would tell him.

Gender/ and gender preference aren't really important here. Lots of people who are in supposedly monogamous relationships will mess around outside of the relationship. Problem is that people just aren't wired to "stay true". It's possible of course, but you have to fight away the urges to do it with other people.
