Lift shoes for girls? iin?

I have seen so many TV commercials lately for young ladies' shoes with "secret wedges" inside to make girls an inch or 2 taller. I find this strange. For men, shoe lifts seem normal because of the pressure for men to be taller/bigger but for young girls/young women it seems very strange. Why is this happening?

Please comment if you have any insight about this trend!

Can't be as bad as the booty pop panties.

  • It makes their legs look longer. I don't think they're worn specifically to add height.

I get flack because I am TOO tall! And I'm only 5'8! So many guys give me a hard time because THEY are 5'6 or whatever, and rather than admit THEY are short and say THEY wish to be taller, they shame on ME because it's easier to blame ME for their insecurity!

Being tall is pretty rough. So yeah. I have no clue why any girl would WISH this upon herself!

I don't agree in that it's weird, I think it's plain stupid. But, it's a fact, for some reason women at all ages are pressured to be tall, as if it was some kind of virtue.
