Let him go!?!?!?!?!
Dated what i thought was the perfect man for me for 4 months.
Came home from a date to find 2 kids on his couch and a woman waiting for him in his bed. Turns out he had been seeing her (from out-of-town) for 10 months. After a tumultuous 10 days, ( I can give you details if you want) he finally sent me an e-mail with the truth:
Said he had concerns he was getting too involved with her, the first person he found right out of the gun. Considering the bad marriage he was in, he wanted to assure himself that he wasn't merely trying to fill a void.
He goes on to say, "What makes this hardest of all is that the potential for a long-term us was possible." Then says, "I have confessed to her and we are working things out...so if my silence and my shame weren't enough for closure, what I need to say to you is good-bye. If I had the right words to make this any easier on you I would say them...but I've probably already said too much."
Is there mixed messages here? Is my broken heart reading in too much? Is it normal for me to still want him back?
