Less intimate moments, iin?

I've a uni paper to sit for the next week. And my partner has been sick (under the weather, pretty bad fever) for over a week. Now he's healthy again just two days ago.We haven't been intimate (oh you know) since he was near-bedridden because of his sickness.

So, naturally, I'd want him badly right? He feels the same. But his employer called him back to work.

Stay and have steamy sex, or go and not risk being judged as unprofessional.

I should be happy my partner's working so hard for us to move to a better place, right? But I'm feeling.. not neglected. More like, "Are you avoiding me?". I'm currently moping right now. is it normal in relationships? The usual stagnancy in sexual activity because of health, work schedule, and etc.

It's normal sometimes we go weeks because I do nights and he works away we just tend to keep things alive by talking about it alot and make up for it when were not working ;)

Your situation is normal I think.

That being said, please excuse my pet peeve here, but I don't like your use of the word intimate. The way you use it implies that it would mean sex, which is a very common miss-usage of the word, but the actual definition of intimacy is just being close to someone. Sexually intimate would have been more proper.
