My friend from church just moved across the country with out telling anyone. My friends and I had to figure it out by ourselves. Does he think we wouldn't notice? Does he think we wouldn't care? I don't understand why he wouldn't tell us. It's not like I had to hear it directly from him that he was moving. It just would have been nice to have some kind of warning that he was heading across the country to Idaho for grad school. Is this normal?

    How do you know he left without a word? You hear time and time again about a skeleton being found in the woods and it turned out to be "someone everyone thought just up and left without a word". Do you know for sure the person just left without a word or maybe he was relocated under the witness protection plan or maybe even transferred by the Mafia. I understand that Jimmy Hoffa just left and moved across the country and didn't tell anyone. Even his family members didn't know. If they did do, as you said, and just up and left, I bet they had a real good reason to do it. I have felt like doing that on a number of occasions.
