Laughing in the face of death

Well, this was awhile back. My friends and I were riding in my car out to a party or something stupid like that. Anyways, it's late at night and I'm stuck at this nearly blind corner on a highway, so I decide, f**k it, and just go for it. As soon as I pull out two cars come around the corner, filling both lanes, and are about five seconds from hitting me when I gun it and barely make it across the intersection. After escaping a nasty car wreck by a couple of inches I just started laughing my ass off while my friends either looked like they pissed their pants or were calling me a crazy b*s***d.

Is it normal that I almost got five or six people killed and my reaction was to laugh hysterically??

Hell yes I know, I don't know why, but I would get an adrenaline rush off that. I've done many things like that for the hell of it. I don't know why, but you only live once (YOLO) best to make the best of it and live to the fullest. Including defying death.

    Well, normal..kind of.

Danger stimulates many different reactions in people, mainly: Fear, Elation, Sadness, Invincibility and Sexual Arousal. Where you laughed, someone else may have developed a huge boner, or cried or defecated (shat themselves). It's the chemicals being released, namely adrenaline.
