Latin parents not watching kids.

You have to look at it from a cultural perspective.

Notably within hispanic society, every adult is responsible for the children. Doesn't matter whether or not they are your children, the communities are so tight knit that everyone watches eachothers children as a given. Even casually looking out for eachother's children. Not to mention, they do not treat their children as helpless little things like Americans tend to. They are not islated little self-contained families like American families are, so letting their kids run around isn't a big deal to them.

The problem with many immigrants is that they are in a society that is completely different from their own and they either take a very long time to assimilate because they tend to stay within their comfort zone (their own ethnic group), take a while to learn the language (English is a very difficult language to learn thanks to our obtuse grammar rules), or they resist assimilation (I don't want to lose my culture) or because they are older and it just has a hard time taking to older people.

Many of them just are not aware that this is not the correct thing to do, they are not aware that most Americans only really watch after their own unless the threat is obvious (like, Scream is stalking a toddler), and that in our society, we are more attentive to our own activities then we are to the activities of others (in this case, their kids).

So yes, I feel that it is normal that you feel that way, but recognize that, like many of us have, those immigrants will eventually assimilate into American society and hopefully they won't hit their head on the concrete before this happens (having their children kidnapped). It's natural in the grand scheme of things to think negatively of immigrants, because they are acting in a manner that does not hold up to our cultural norms. Just be patient and let them do their own thing, we were all immigrants once.

That's only because you're focusing on that race-type.

Believe me there are plenty of sucky parents of ALL ethnicities who don't pay attention to their kids. ... until the kids get hurt. Then they try to blame everyone else for not watching out for them.

Latinos are the shittiest parents off all. They're the one's jumping the border, soaking up the welfare, and having as many kids as possible. I live in Massachusetts and it crawling with scum like this.

It's the same way where I live too. 1-5 year olds running around the streets half naked unsupervised. The kid gets hit by a car then suddenly the parents think they're entitled to a large sum of money via lawsuit for their own negligence.

Yea I noticed this too. Its mostly the wetbacks that do this. Ill see a 2 or 3 year old walking on the sidewalk fucking 50 ft away from his parent, and she (ususallly a she) just acts normal like Nothing going on. It really makes me wanna slap myself!!!

British parents are terrible. (I am British) but in my opinion they are the worst. Iv seen a child get locked in a changing room in my old job just so it's mom could Finish her shopping. She even left the store... This kid wasn't even 3 years old! X
