    Job Interviews

    I FUCKING HATE THEM.

Especially when there are two or more interviewers like one person isn't enough.

I'd like to say you dumb bastards i can do this job in my sleep but no i have to be polite and somehow end up saying the wrong words.

The one that sticks out is when I attended a multicultural meeting that had a Tibetan Buddhist lady as the guest. It was interesting. However I think everyone there was out of their comfort zone. They were all so stiff and you'd have thought they were asking questions to an encyclopedia rather than an interesting person who had actual experiences. I grew some ovaries and asked a question about karma and technology before I hauled ass to class and I liked the way her eyes lit up to answer and seemed to kind of invite some energy into the room.

  • Not too long ago, I went to this guy's house. When I got there, I had no idea what a wingnut he was. He blamed Obama for virtually everything that goes wrong in our world, hated Muslims with a passion ("you can't do anything in this country unless you're a Muslim!" "Obama's soft on Muslims," etc) and insinuated that the president was a Muslim. He derided liberals as "Marxists" (a comparison that neither liberals nor Marxists would appreciate) and claimed that 'voting fraud' was the primary reason for Obama's victory. He then went on about how Obama is using the riots in Ferguson and the media circus that ensued following the death of Trayvon Martin to insight a race war and impose martial law on the populace and that, apparently, women in our culture lack virtue and are thereby forcing him to move to a country where divorces are illegal. He had an unhealthy fondness for Ronald Reagan and his wife, and insinuated that Mrs. Obama is inferior to the Reagan's wife because Michelle Obama "lacked class". He seems to have had a number of fantasies about the Obama's falling out of power, Romanov style. Nice guy, but a complete nut.

last time i was out of my comfort zone was when i turned down the offer of a foursome, although the act of turning it down was out of it too, made me worried i came across as an anxious virgin

i was out with two friends i'd only known for about a month, becks an attractive brunette i'd made out with a couple of times and andre, a tall slim guy who was pretty well built, towards the end of the night we left the local casino and went back to her place where her roomate was who'd just got back from work, sarah, never met her before, she was a really cute redhead ( my weakness )

sarah and becks just casually asked if me and andre would be up for a foursome, being inexperienced i didn't like the idea of it anyway but especially ( it was before the weight loss ) seeing as i was overweight and they were all really good looking the whole idea just made me want to get out of there with my head hung haha

    • I would've done the same. I once declined an offer to go to a pool party with a friend because there were going to be other people there and I didn't want them to see me without a shirt on. I refused sex with a girl I liked for the same reason.

I was out of my comfort zone about three weeks ago. I had to tell a guy that I went on three dates with that it wasn't going to work out between us. He took it pretty well so it wasn't so bad.

I had to tell a couple of Jehovah's witnesses (who were also some kind of friends) that I didn't agree with all they said and that they should stop coming home. It was not great, not great :-(

A couple years ago I went to a charity event full of wealthy baby boomers. It was dull. I had more fun talking to the security and wait staff.
