Me and my boyfriend have a very large age gap between us, he's 23 years older than me. I love him but my friends say it's weird, please can you guys help?

I think it's hella weird. Sorry, but that's my honest opinion. I had a female friend back in Vegas who always dated guys much older than her. I don't suppose it's horrible, but when she wants to talk to me about their sex life or give me a blow by blow about her latest encounter it nauseates and disgusts me. I'm like, "hey do you fucking mind, I'm tryin to eat my muthafuckin lunch, biatch"! Well, if ever I need to cut my appetite I know who to call.
I think in the majority of cases there's some pathology and dysfunction that is at the root of that May/December bullshit. I think anything more than a ten year age difference is not normal. I'm sure there are some people who may legitimately believe they've found their soul mate, but I will never go out my way to actively support those types of relationships. The best I can do is to tolerate it for the sake of a friend, but one sure way to make me intolerant is to start talking about the gory details. AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FO DAT!!!
As long as you're the legal age of consent or over then you're free to date anyone of your choosing. He is old, but it's not all that weird for younger women to date older men, since they are more experienced and mature.
Btw my boyfriend is 30 years old, I haven't told my family yet even though we've been dating for a month and a half.
