I know a lot of girls don't like short guys so please refrain from harsh comments if you can. But, could you like one if he had a great personality (smart, funny, genuinely a nice person, does not even care about his height or have a complex of inferiority) you know a good person that people like, easy to be around. Could you throw the superficial mindset aside?

I have never met a "short" guy that didn't have "little man" syndrome, they just express it in different ways. I'm not trying to make fun, i just notice it. Some are "super nice and sensitive" to make up for it, and some are trying to "fight everyone to prove themselves". Both suck ass.
I don't have a problem with shorter guys. I'm 5'6.5, and I've met guys that I found to be very attractive who were a little bit shorter than me. It doesn't make them inferior either. Don't worry about your height.
It would be unfair for a girl to vote that is not average girl height but is taller.
Since I'm 5'9", not a chance. But shorter girls would not have a problem with a shorter guy..
I am not into small men at all to be honest.
But if I got friendly with one, and he was attractive and had a really good personality, then I would consider it. I wouldn't totally push him off.
I'm a guy and only 5'4". I totally get it when girls want a bigger guy then them. I personally want a girl smaller than me. (good luck to me >_>) Makes me feel like I'm protecting her and she would feel like she is being protected. It feels good to fit a role of a manly protector.
However to me it's just another small detail in the grand scheme of things. Don't let height be the judge of a genuine relationship. It's totally normal to want your guy to be bigger but there some of the biggest hearts are in the smallest guys ;) <3

I know some girls that actually prefer a short guy. Just have confidence. That's someone out there for everyone:)
I'm messing with a short guy by guy standards. I'm like a little taller than him but his personality makes him seem much taller.

It actually does 100%it is a scientific fact. Your ethnicity determines your size down there. Short black guys are bigger than tall white ones, same with Latinos. I am half Puerto rican, hence me being 5'5 and my member is over six inches. Someone is mad about their toddler sized one of guess.
Personally, I'm 5'10", white-of British decent and am well endowed. I still don't believe that all black guys have big dicks; that's stupid and some of my black friends & family members will say the same. And you at 5'5" with a little 6" wiener? In that case, short person = short weenie ? Lol

I'm 5'6", which is fairly short where I live. My size has never been an issue for me, and it has never stopped me from getting what I wanted be it girls, sports, anything!
i'm a guy, hence i don't vote. But I think it all depends how tall is the girl. if you're just slightly taller of same height i find it perfectly normal, but if you're an amazon and he's barely as tall as your shoulder it's kinda ridiculous.
Everyone wants something different from a partner and physical requirements do fit in there. The magnitude of these requirements varies from person to person.
To me, it wouldn't be a big deal at all. My mum's 5 9 and my step dad is 5 4 and it's never been weird for me, because it was accepted in my house and I barely even noticed.
So really don't worry about it. There are always people who don't care. Just don't be hurt by the people who do. :)
Liking someone or being with someone is a discrimanatory process by definition. People always fall short!

Sweet. I read in a magazine some female writer said every short man has inferiority issues, that's not true, I can't say I've felt that way. Ever.
My brother is two inches shorter than me (I'm 5'5"). He's a great guy with no inferiority issues due to his height. In fact, I think he likes being short and likes it when his friends tease him about it. And my best friend is gorgeous and she is with a guy who is three inches shorter than her - he has no visible complex about it either. However, I used to work at a gym (health club) and there was a member, a guy, who had a massive complex about his height. It was so bad that he had gotten into two fights over it within a year, after that he was asked to find a new gym.
Girls will go for any guy that's nice, so don't worry about your height. Physical appearance and an asshole personaility isn't what girls specificly look for in a partner, and don't ever let reality tell you different!
