Ladies: how do you draw the interest of a man?

When you are single (or in an open relationship) and you find yourself attracted to a man, what do you do? (I don't ask: "What do you think is right to do?" but "What DO you do?")

I wait for the eye-contact and smile at him 38
I try and start a conversation with him 25
I just ask him, if he is interested in a date/drink or the like 2
I don't do anything and wait for him to do the 1 step 39
I do something crazy to draw everyone's attention 4

    I've always been a shy girl. But I'm trying to get over it. A friend told me to hold eye contact for 6 seconds. It helps.

    To the ladies who voted "I don't do anything and wait for him to do the 1 step", how are we supposed to know your interested in us?

    Interest in us is one factor that helps us makes the first move.

      a lot of ladies like a more old fashioned man whos going to make the first move even if he is not sure we like him back...that takes courage, which is attractive

        Judging from that comment, I could say that a lot of girls like me because they don't talk to me. But i find that to be a silly assumption because they're always hanging around other guys.

          doesnt mean that because they dont talk to you they like you, but it doesnt mean they dont like you...make a move and find out

    I usually make eye contact/smile and if I can, go over and say a few flirty things, its not hard.

    when i like a guy im usually pretty obvious in that i stare and smile and dress/act cute, sit close, talk more personally and maybe a little sexually, use sexy body language, flirt with mouth/lips/tongue, laugh at all his jokes, say good things about him or look at him near his friends so they can spread the message, touch him in little ways, make my voice sound a little sexy when i talk or laugh, act like im interested in what hes saying (make him feel like i like what hes saying becuase its him saying it) etc.

    so basically im making it pretty obvious that im interested but i always wait for him to make the first move.

    of course if he shows no interest i stop because i dont want to be pushy or seem desperate, so playing hard to get doesnt work on me....also because what makes me attracted to the man even more is knowing that he is attracted to me...i know that sounds kind of weird but i hate it when a guy pretends he isnt interested, wheres the fun in that? i like the flirting game for a while, then the guy to ask me out or whatever. guys probably dont like it to go that slow but girls love it
