Lack of faith

Is it normal to have a complete and utter lack of faith in humanity as a whole? Like I just feel as though humans are little more than animals pretending to be something greater than what we really are, we make up these pretenses of being superior to the other races around us when in reality we're just as...no more destructive and savage than any species I've heard of. Why do we build up these false walls that allow us to believe we're superior in any way?Is it fear? Hope? What?

I completely agree and believe that humanity in a whole are no better then the cockroaches I crush beneath my feet infact we are much worse this planet is doomed.

    REASONS
    1)we pollute the earth
2)we are naturally selfish greedy pieces of shit
3)we care more about money then friendship love etc.
4)we have not only polluted but destroyed many areas of this planet
    5) we have enough food and water to feed the entire world and yet we watch people starve

The list can continue but I'll be going on all day.

    CONCLUSION:
We are no better then anything on this entire planet i fact we are the less evolved species.

BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING THINK ABOUT IT WE ARE THE ONLY SPIECIES OUT OF ANYTHING SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME THAT CAN PREVENT OUR OWN EXTINCTION AND WE ARE ALSO THE ONLY SPECIES EVER TO BE DUMB ENOUGH TO DO IT OURSELVES

    HUMANS ARE IDIOTIC SCUM ..
And yes that includes me to .. but atleast I'm not as bad as most pieces of shit.

I don't have any faith in humanity, because that's not where faith belongs.

Are you including yourself in your description of humanity?
I suggest you settle down and take a look around at the positive achievements of the human race: sure, we're destructive and sometimes savage but also humane, empathetic, generous and public spirited.

I feel sad that your experience of the world has made you so blind to the positive that you can only see the negative and point out that it's up to you what contribution you personally make to the world: that's what being human is all about.

We're clearly the dominant species on the planet, as we excel better than any other evolved life at modifying the environment to better suit our needs and goals. We're not gifted with the "spark of god," but, objectively speaking, we are by all means tracking towards absolute superiority, especially if we can stabilize our future by figuring out a sustainable way to manage overpopulation, climate change, and continued technological developement.
