Lack and not find black guys attractive?

I live in South Africa and race is a huge issue... so how and who you date is a reflection of what you think and how you perceive your surroundings. For some reason people always an opinion of who I've dated and now I want a straight answer... is it normal to find men of other ethnicities more attractive than those of my own?

    It's natural to find another race more attractive than your own - they're more exotic, unusual, dangerous, etc.

    Does it really have to be a self-hatred issue? I only like guys outside my race. But mostly because and I the black guys I have come to know don't know how to act (ex. bagged pants, slang, utter ignorance, no culture, no care) I'm open to anyone as long as they aren't an idiot

      I totally agree - I dont have issues with my skin colour, in fact I spend a lot of time and money that it remains a nice shade of brown! so the self hatred issue is such a load of bull

    You only think it's not normal because your surroundings (society in S. Africa) say it's not normal. A sexy man is a sexy man, no matter how much melanin in their skin they have

      Totally, I find caucasian or asian features attractive and that should be that. The first thing people notice about you is how you look, they don't see your personality - looks get you in the door, everything else will keep you in the house. Its totally not a race thing, so people mustnt come with their judgemental bullshit

    I think that multiple people of different races are attractive. Each race has it's pluses and minuses.

    I don't find black guys attractive very much. I like them as people, but they aren't sexually appealing to me.

    Many people find things that are exotic attractive. In fact, it might be an instinctual attraction that keeps the gene pool diverse. Don't feel bad. Personally, I have a BIG thing for accents. And dimples.

    i'm white and i usually find people of other races much more attractive than white guys, just thought i'd add that. but race isn't a criteria.
