Knocked out of reality?

I was wondering if this is going on with anyone else. I have such bad panic attacks (although I haven't had them in awhile) I now feel knocked out of reality. My mind is in it's own world where everything feels fake. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, you're probably thinking what the f$ck. But if anyone knows what I mean.. I'd like help.

It's called depersonalization. I've had it for years. I never did drugs, I have panic disorder. Hardly any doctors know about it. It's a defense mechanism, very scary I know, but it's not harmful in any way <3 There are medications for serious anxiety and panic disorder and depression, you should see your doctor and tell them c:

No way. I'm going through this exact same thing and feel super weird about it but nobody understands. It's almost as if I'm in a coma on a bed somewhere else. When did you first start feeling like this and what did you do the day or the night before?

-I'm serious b.c i remember when i first felt like this, and lots of times now i wake up from sleeping I'm completely disoriented for a few seconds.

    • MARIJUANA IS NOT PHYSICALLY ADDICTIVE.

If you experienced any symptoms of addiction, then it's a product of either; another drug you are taking, or all in your head little koi-fish.

But mental addiction can/does manifest physical symptoms. I have watched many detox from weed only to go back on it. Their symptoms have been consistent even though they don't know one another.

Lava- if there is any way I can talk to you online one on one that would be really helpful. No one knows what I'm going through and it's been a year + now. It started all because of smoking too much pot and not doing it in moderation.

I used to smoke weed about a year back. But I haven't since. Which is why I'm confused on why this is still happening.

  • Maybe you're just more socially aware than you used to be.

It takes more effort to notice how superficial & "fake" everything is. Nobody seems to want to step outside of their fake lives so they can get real, and they definitely don't want people to tell them things about their lives are fake either. That's what I've noticed, so far.

      nah, it's not that.

i kind of know what he means. it's an alteration in actual consciousness; i've heard about it. things really LOOK and feel fake.

in really serious forms of it, people actually feel like ghosts (like their bodies are not making contact with objects) or they are completely numb. it's actually scientifically astonishing, and apparently involves no neurological damage. most surmise its a product of anxiety or depression. however, one can only speculate..
