I'm a girl and I don't like kissing. The very thought of someones' germs, tongue, food particles, and whatever else they've shoved into their mouth suddenly entering\making contact with my mouth sickens me beyond belief. Many Times i've almost thrown up doing it, but I've held it in. I'm not a germophobe, but I have very wild thoughts most of the time. I think kissing is disgusting. Is this normal?

    When your with the right guy all those gross feeling go away. I'm a germaphobe, but when it comes to my boyfriend we share food and he sneezes around me n we kiss n everything :/.

    Your mouth is constantly full of germ, regardless if you just brushed, it doesn't kill all the bacteria. Bacteria is a normal thing and your body needs some bacteria to keep itself healthy. I think your looking too deeply into something. My sister is the same way, like her, you just need to find someone worth the risk of a.kiss

    I used to feel the same especially about sex but I think if you really love the guy or girl and are in the right mood you wont be thinking about germs but more about how nicely it feels.

    You sound very cold.. You're really missing out. I've never thought of there being bits of food floating around. You usually don't kiss while you're eating. And what makes you think the inside of your mouth is so clean and germ free

      well, it makes it clean and germfree because im not eating anyone elses face off. No, you don't kiss when you're eating but you could've been eating an hour before, and its not like you people brush your teeth every second of the day, so it's disgusting and not right. You don't see animals kissing and eating eachother out. It's just not natural.

        You are not alone, I feel the exact same way. Pretty sure I'll be forever alone because of it but at this point I really don't care. People who say we need to get over it just don't have a clue. It would be like telling someone who hates spiders to get over it and just hold onto them or someone who hates heights to go on a roller coaster. It's no different, if those people don't have to get over their debilitating fears why should we have to get over our minor ones, just saying.
