Kiss on the neck?

A few years ago, I was volunteering and living on a farm. I had just turned 21 at the time and there about 10 other people who were doing the same thing, in their mid 20s. There was this one really beautiful girl I became friends with, she was in a relationship with another guy who was there before I got there. She one time opened up to me about a lot of frustrations she was having, and afterwards became more flirty towards me.
She then had to leave and was away a couple weeks, but she actually didn't live that far away she grew up on a farm.
So this morning she comes back, and I was in the kitchen boiling something on the stove. She walks over to me and infront of her boyfriend, hugs me and kisses me really lightly on my neck.
It felt amazing, but I was also taken aback, like is this something people do??
I've never seen or heard of that happening outside of a relationship. Also it wasn't like a joke, none of us even acknowledged that it happened, and she did it really sweetly like it was sincere.
I don't know why I still think about that sometimes, maybe because she is one of the most beautiful girls I've ever met.

    Obviously you should pursue her, she seems very interested in you. But don't make any serious commitments with a girl who kisses guys in front of her boyfriend.

    Thank you for responses so far :) As I said this was years ago, and we no longer live in the same state. Even in that instance, she had left the farm and just came back for a day to visit.
    The event just comes to my mind sometimes as I've never experienced something like it.

    To add, I message her and told her I liked her once and she said it felt good to hear as she was just going through a break up with that guy. She just wanted to talk about breaking up with him, and I couldn't really do that then. But then we had a short conversation a few weeks later.

    I messaged her once a little while ago and she didn't respond. It really was mostly a sexual attraction though, so I am letting it go for now
