Kiss my bass, iin?!

Is it normal that I think that the bass is so much better than the guitar? The bass is so underrated. So unloved even though it is indispensable in certain music genres. The bass is needed to make love with the drums and mellow out the harsh, loud sounds of the electric guitar. Plus, electric guitarists seem to be a little full of themselves, based on observations. Is it normal? What are your thoughts on this?
