Jolting awake.

Sometimes whenim napping I will wake up and literally jump like six inches. Sometimes my dream coordinates with my sudden movement, but sometimes it doesn't. And it NEVER happens when I'm sleeping at night. Only when I'm like sitting on a couch or something and doze off.

I hate when that happens. I don't do it often but it scares the hell out of me when I do.

Just a moment ago my boyfriend jolted out of his sleep and I asked what happened and he said he was running and then he tripped. I haven't had this in a long time but I had a dream a long time ago I slipped and jolted out of bed. There were times when jolted awake and the short dream wasn't anything I would jolt from...

I think this happens when we're trying to stay awake even though we're really tired. Especially since you are sitting on a couch or anything else. You're fighting to stay awake so your nerves are working along side that plan and is like, NO! Whenever I fight to stay awake this happens. There was this one time I was sharing my bed with my brother's ex at the time they were together. I was uncomfortable because the way I was sleeping on the bed. And I jolted 3 times in a row . I believe it was every 2-3 minutes. So it's pretty normal. Your brain and nerves are doing two things at once, sleeping and staying awake which causes the jolt. I usually jolt then go back to sleep lol.

This happens to me once in a while. I'll be asleep in my bed, all comfy, then suddenly my body jerks. It's like I got zapped by the static from a doorknob in the winter. It doesn't happen very often but when it does, I get startled. I haven't had it happen when I'm sleeping on the couch though.
