Jesus christ housewarming log cabin dance...so nervous!
I live in the woods with my family...way out in the woods. Last year our house burnt down, but with the help of neighbors, we were able to get it up again in a short time ( I live in a tiny cabin--5 rooms)
Anyway, we are having a housewarming party and I am really, really nervous, because I'm going to be performing an interpretive dance that I've been planning my whole life. I feel as if I were born to be an artistic director/dancer and now it's my time to shine, but what if no one likes it?
I begin the dance inside an egg (symbolizing rebirth/Easter) and then I emerge as Santa Claus (childhood dreams/Christmas--which was when our house was completed) and then I take off my heavy suit and present myself as Jesus Christ. I know it's heavily symbolic, but I've worked so hard on the costumes, I hope everyone likes it. Is it normal to be this nervous? How can I calm down?
