So me and my BFF are really close.... more closer than we should be.I mean we hold hands and hug alot.Sometimes people think were going out and ask us if we are lesbians but we dont think anything of the way we behave.

The thing is...recently I have been spending time with this other girl and my BFF hates it.

Like this one time when I was out with this girl and my BFF called me.I told her who I was with and then she was like "Why dont you ask (the girl's name) to be your BFF" and started crying and stuff.

I have never been in this situation before so I dont know if she's jealous because she likes me more than a friend or not.I dont know what to do and I dont want to lose her because this is not healty for are friendship.Is this normal?

    People think me my best friend are gay lovers, yet we are both gay, not sexual partners, I hate that he is constantly getting laid and dating peeps, and i love it when he gets dumped, except i still am only friends with him for the sheer fact that i want to see him suffer. Your normal. I am Not.

    More likely than not, even though she may not even know it, she has feelings for you beyond friendship. This too happened to me and my best friend in high school. We held hands, Cuddled, hugged all the time.. Turns out she did in fact want more.. Eventually i realized that if I'd taken the chance.. I too could have developed stronger feelings for her too. Maybe the feelings were already there but I never let them through..
    Anywhom, whatever you do.. Know that its almost painful to wonder "what if".

    On the other hand. Being a best friend is a very intimate thing.. Even if she isn't romantically interested, it can still hurt to see your BFF.. Seemingly losing interest in the friendship.

    tell her just because you hang with others doesn't make her less important to you. (which is true right?)

    Either way, make sure she realizes that while you guys are best friends, you can have other friends.
