Is it normal that Jack Daniels is my best friend? Lately, all of my friends have been blowing me off, so I've been hanging with Jack (I've been home on a friday and saturday night drinking whiskey for the past few weeks). I also don't have time to see anyone during the week (work then school right after). Please give some input.

Jack's my best friend too (you better not be stealing him away from me). Just don't let it get to the point where you're relying on him and everything's fine.
Also, be the bad guy and blow him off every now and then and switch for something softer for a bit, just to please your liver (your ex-best friend, before you met Jack).
No. If you have to refer to alcohol as your friend then the bottle is drinking you, not the other way around.
Be careful. "Excuses" for drinking are one of the signs of an alcoholic in the making. Jack Daniels or any hard liquor will play havoc on your liver faster than beer or wine. Drinking is a coping mechanism for some people so that they don't have to deal with life. Is your life truly that bad?
