If there were true feelings there you would be attracted to him, ithats how it works. You can love a friend of the opposite sex platonically. You dont have to be sexually interested in a person to recognize their good qualities and want to be close to them as friends. On the other hand I have been so crazy into a guy that he looks like a Greek god and feels like it in bed, while my friends thought he was a three at the most.
you need to find some one you are physicaly atracted to as well as loving there personallity.
