Itn that a concussion changed my boyfriend so much?

My boyfriend is a firefighter and about a week ago a roof collapsed on him. Thank god all he came out with was a mild concussion. But during the week he has said really terrible things to me. He told me if I get pregnant he might leave me, he didn't want babies at all, I should leave him, he felt no sensitivity for me at all, he didn't care that his one friend's girlfriend hurt me because it did not directly effect him and when I was crying the one day because of what he was saying he laughed at me. Now we have been togather for a little over 3 years now, we are beyond the love stage and are very comitted and can't wait to have babies. We talked about this week today and he can't remember any of it at all. He can't remember any fights, me crying or anything he has said to me. He was genuinely upset that he said all that to me and really confused that he did so. He seems better now. but This wasn't like him at all. Can a concussion really cause all this?

    Yes this is normal. They said this is what happened to Henry the 3rd. They say if you get hit in certien parts of your brain it can drastically change your personality. This has happened in more recent events and people say they come out like a totally different person. This type of damage depending is often not fixable. I believe it is the front temple that was hit. If you hit this it in a way reprograms the personality. So the person is often changed forever. I sorry if my explanation was bad.

    I had a concussion where I had absolutely zero short term memory. It was insane. I know I got irritable (it's a bitch when you can't remember anything anyone tells you, or what you're doing, or how long you've been standing in once spot, or how you got to be where you are), or so they told me. I don't really remember those instances.

    Yes it is possible to have temporary personality changes due to a concussion.

    I think they can cause irritability. Not sure. Do some research.
