It's long time I'm living abroad and I didn't miss my family, is it normal?

it's been more than one year I'm studying in a foreign country alone and until now I don't care about my parents. I just need they give me money, if I have money, maybe I never talk with them.
before this, when I was with my family, I was so Dependent to my family and my parents, but after I come abroad I feel nothing to them, is it normal?
