It's a sick sad world. iin?

Choose a life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers... Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit crushing game shows, stuffing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away in the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself, choose your future. Choose life? It's sick and sad but is it normal?

Fuckin failures in a country of failures. Its no good blamin it on the English for colonizing us. I don't hate the English. They're just wankers. We are colonised by wankers. We can't even pick a decent, vibrant healthy society to be colonised by. No..we are ruled by effete arseholes. What does that make us? The lowest of the low, the scum of the earth. The most wretched servile, miserable, pathetic trash that was ever shat into creation. Ah don't hate the English. They just get on with the shit they've got.

Consider the Americans. They blow the bloody piss out of dysfunctional countries with their computerized weapons. When all that's left is rubble, they decide it is better to leave a power vacuum, that to waste anymore money. This does make a bit of sense. They then have more money to spend on future weapons. Meanwhile the targeted society is left in the Stone Age to reestablish their pathetic dictatorships without outside influence. Makes me think that perhaps Scotland needs a king.

It's entirely possible I'm failing to grasp the point of that rant, but it seems to me that the operative word is "choose".

Yes, we all have the right to choose all that crap, but we also have the right to choose to find a different, more positive direction for our lives.

Yes, the world is truly sick and sad. We start off with high hopes, then we bottle it. We realise that we’re all going to die, without really finding out the big answers. We develop all those long-winded ideas which just interpret the reality of our lives in different ways, without really extending our body of worthwhile knowledge, about the big things, the real things. Basically, we live a short disappointing life; and then we die. We fill up our lives with shit, things like careers and relationships to delude ourselves that it isn’t all totally pointless.

A few people out of billions like Einstein and Newton have discovered significant cosmological relationships which look like toddler scrawling in retrospect. They have taken baby steps that enlightened civilization for 5 minutes or so. And so I ask, what is the fucking point of it all? Five minutes of enlightenment? Life is 99.94% shit. Death has a 99.94% chance of being 100% shit.
