It normal to feel physical pain due to emotional pain?

So IVe been with this guy for over a year and im maddly in love with him, we do get into little arguements but the second he says something just to hurt me it stings, the center of my chest has a dull pain that just shoots through me and my wrist feel the same and i just have the feeling like i have to cry. Now im a pretty tough dude nothing anyone says matters to me as much as what he says something to piss me off.

So im asking is it normal to feel physical pain due to emotional pain?
