It it normal going out in public dressed as a clown?

I have a huge clown fetish. I am extremely turned on from seeing the opposite sex or myself as a clown and I have spent almost $140 on 2 clown costumes with clown accessories. During halloween, I dressed up in my clown costume and got a female friend to dress up as one too. Not including Halloween, I've went out in public dressed as a clown 7 times (2 of the times being with 2 other females dressed as clowns). I'm not all that embarrassed about my fetish, but now that I stop and think about it, I'm wondering if going out in public dressed as a clown is taking it too far. For some strange reason, it turns me on even more having other people see me in full clown or me as a clown with other clowns. As crazy as it might sound, is it normal?
