It is normal to dream that you are losing all of your teeth?

I often have dreams that my teeth are falling out and that I am bleeding from the mouth (usually there is alot of pain too). In the dream it doesn't bother me but when I wake up it really freaks me out. Like once I was dreaming that all of my teeth fell out and blood was gushing from my mouth then these fangs started to grow in. Usually though I'm just dreaming that my teeth are turning black and falling out. I've looked up dream analysis sites but nothing really seems to apply. Is it normal to dream frequently about your teeth?

One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxieties about your appearance and how others perceive you. Sadly, we live in a world where appearance and attractiveness matter and your teeth help to convey that image. Teeth play an important role in the game of flirtation, whether it be flashing those pearly white, kissing or necking. Thus, such dreams may stem from a fear of rejection, sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old. Additionally, a dream research found that women in menopause have frequent dreams about teeth. This further points to teeth dreams as being related to getting older and/or feeling unattractive and less feminine. Teeth are an important feature to your attractiveness and how you are presented to others. Caring about how you look is natural and healthy. I found this on dream moods A-Z

Yes! I did for years! I investigated throughly into it and it's a very common dream. The general consensus on the meaning is to do with insecurity in any facet if your life. But especialy insecurity about ur physical appearance. Has nothing to do with ur actual teeth so your safe there! Work on loving yourself! Maybe change ur look or get a makeover!

  • Do you have poor teeth?? Rotten or crooked??
If you do, it could be insecurity about that.

If you have perfect rows of pearly whites, then it could be a manifestation of your own vanity being threatened.

When interpreting your own dreams, focus more on how you were feeling & what emotions you're experiencing during the dreams. Those feelings are more important/useful than the symbolism of objects that come up.

Normal. This is a common dream, and I would guess the kind that most people, if not all, have @ one point in their life or another. Google it and you'll find more results, but here's a quick fix:

Feel better, and figure out what's distressing you. Once you do, if you can, your dreams should transition back to more pleasant or unremarkable plots.
