It is normal to consider yourself a patriot?

I consider myself a patriot, and sometiems i am a dude full of patriotism for my natal country Romania, which i consider that surely deserves more.Just asking if one's person patriotism can be sometimes exagerated and put that person in conflict with other persons, because of patriotism for their own countries or other ambitions/desires and maybe can lead to other consequnces?

Never choose patriotism over humanity. That's demonic!

It might be normal but it is not right. Borders and countries are arbitrary social creations designed to control the population. Standard divide and conquer.

Fuck patriotism, borders are meaningless imaginary lines, why dont you love the human race as a whole? Why does it matter what country the vagina you popped out of was in? Dont let the powers that be trick you into investing your love into meaningless names for their own sake.

I have always envied the Irish for their blind patriotism; my country, right or wrong.
As an American, I find little about the US that is patriotism worthy and a great deal to be ashamed of. How sad.
