It is normal to be this obsessed with celebrities?

My friend is obsessed with this boy pop group. She..

1. Has over 300 pictures of them on her Ipod.
2.Reads lemon (sexual fanfiction stories) of them.
3.Constantly tells me about her sexual fantasies of them and how she wishes she had sex with them.
4.Knows what brand of underwear they wear,shampoo, and conditioner.
5.Gets extremely mad when someone insults them (like really mad, no joke)

Every time we talk, she has to bring them up! Is this a bad obsession or is this normal?

    Hiya,

    She's not odd. She'll eventually get fed up with them & be embarrassed about it. I used to be the same way with various people. I can't stand half of them now.

    There's no point getting cross when someone insults a band – that makes you look pretty silly if you ever go off them yourself.

    Sounds like a near stalker obsession. However, with the over exposure that some people get it's no wonder that people are obsessed with them.

    i've been like that before, then months later after they get old you think what did i like about them so much? but honestly, she could just really like them.. but that is a little bit weird, but theres lots of girls like that. my really close friend is obsessed with one direction, she got tickets to EVERY STOP for their tour this summer. your friends not the only one that's crazy for a boy bandd.
