It is normal that seeing people eat makes me weirdly sad?
When I see people eating I feel this weird sort of empathy for them. It gives me a sort of sad feeling I can't describe it. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Empathy is understanding and sharing their feelings.
Why do you think they would be sad while eating? I mean, sure, I guess sometimes that's the case, but I wouldn't call it the norm.
Do you feel sad when you eat? If so, that's projecting, not empathising.
For me they aren't necessarily eating but I sometimes have overwhelming sadness when looking at strangers. I want to make their lives better. Make them happy.
I’m pretty sure ik what you’re saying cause I can’t describe it either but sometimes feel it.
