It doesn't bother me to have much younger internet friends. iin?

(Mind you, I'm not talking naughty stuff, this is about work-safe friendships and talk only. :P )

I'm a 25 year old guy. (Being male seems vital to the creepiness factor.)
Most of my close internet friends are between, say, 20 and 23, but there's also one who hit 15 just this month. I hang out on Omegle a lot too, where I seem to run into people aged 14-17 or so more often than not, and I often end up bantering with them about random stuff, sometimes for hours on end. I think that's fun.

...I just don't really know how to deal with age. I try to be more or less egalitarian about it, treating everyone the same. Is that weird? What would be normal to do?

I think it's normal. I'll be 21 in a month and a half and I've always had older and younger friends. The people I talk to range in age from teens to 40-some. I talk to a guy who's 18 and hangs with a kid who's 13 & it's nothing perverted. I'm a female but I don't think gender matters.

I'm 18 the age of my on-line friends varies from 14 to over 60 I guess (I don't know her exact age, but she's a grandmother).

Why should age matter? Personally I'm younger than most of people here but I think that older people are more interesting because most of girls my age talk only about Twilight and their horrible Facebook "problems" and I'm not interested to anything like that.

This is normal and I honestly feel like it's a good thing. I'm a youngster myself and I've never been able to connect with people my age, so I started talking to older people. There is nothing wrong with what you're doing. Some of us need an older friend.
