It bothers me when a magazine posts photos of celebs without makeup?

When they're clearly wearing lots. IIN?

Seriously, the new gaga photo..she's wearing more makeup than the average female! Shimmer on her face, white liner, eyeshadow, lipstick..that's not natural. Then you have dozens of others. Most of the celebs I can think of were all wearing eyeliner, mascara, lipgloss, concealer..

Most women I know go out with less than that on. So, it bothers me how celebrities opinion of all natural is instead of their usual 2 pounds of makeup, 1 pound of makeup. Bare is bare. Am I right or wrong? It's fine to wear some make up but It just gets to me when they say they're all natural when clearly they're still hiding behind a pound of make up.

    This is why I rarely, if ever, wear make up. It's only to ENHANCE the beauty women already have

    If it says natural no make up means no make up putting too much on makes then look like grannies when they are 30 just look at Kate moss without her makeup she looks 50

    the title indicates that you're bothered by magazine pics of celebs withOUT make up. but you're saying that it upsets you when they're wearing a lot of it. i'm confused and simple minded. please explain.

      I think the OP is saying that s/he (presumably she) is pissed at celebrities that pretend not to use make up but actually are using it and lying.

    I would think most all people realize that shit is mostly fake. like angel said, even if they aren't wearing make up nowadays, then the pics are more than likely retouched. nothing's real any more.

    The point is u can wear alot of make up and look natural Heavy make up is like smoky eyes. Light natural youthful make up they are kinda glowey so their not talking bout how they say they aren't wearing make up. They are saying they look natural earthy. Make up. Their natural beauty but maked up to look natural

    Welcome to reality.

    Most celebs look the way they do because of makeup and clothing. It's how they make their money.

    If you don't want to see that I would suggest you stop buying those kinds of magazines. Get something intellectual instead.

      I'm not against them wearing makeup. I'm annoyed by them claiming or advertising themselves in some photos as wearing NONE when they're actually wearing a lot. Why lie when it's obvious? I just don't understand. Sorry if my topic confused you.

        in all honesty they might not be wearing makeup.
        however that doesn't mean the photo isn't retouched.

        Plus, a very skilled photographer can make the subject look good without makeup. Just blot the face a little to remove excess oil - and apply moisturizers (which don't really count as makeup either) and adjust the camera settings and flash to make him or her look as good as possible.

        that way they are still sans makeup but don't look like hags
