So, I'm a pretty lonely guy. Pretty much the nerd archetype that loves videogames, other nerd things, what have you, but I get really bored and lonely. I don't have many friends...and lately, I've been thinking about this.

I don't want to hook up or anything, just want to get it done, out of the way, just to kinda unwind, right? But everywhere I go, it's like, "Let's meet!" or "Download this free virus! It has boobs!". I just don't know what to do with myself. Should I make friends and keep this under wraps? Is what I'm wanting normal?

    No it's not normal but, don't feel bad about it. You sound like a loner.
    In order to have these diaries fulfilled, you will have to make an effort to socialize with people. You'll have to work at finding people with the same desires/likes.

      You know, admitting I at least thought about it is kind of a relief. I mean, I keep pretty much everything I do a secret, mostly because nobody else would seem to understand it. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not trying to be all emotional and say that nobody understands me, but if I told people I was into modding video games, they'd pretty just say "Oh." and just stop talking to me.

      I appreciate the feedback. And I'll try and be more sociable. There's a card game going on behind me, I'll ask them if I can join. ;)

    Mod video games? Dude, I know people who love doing that stuff. If anything, open up conversation by asking what game systems people play on and give them random advice.
    Just keep it simple.
