Is tubular breasts syndrome really that rare and ugly?

I have always been ashamed of my breasts and consequently hated them and my body in general. Since I started developing them I always thought they were oddly shaped, and recently I have started doing some reasearch (most online) and I have found that I have something called "thin breasts" - the base of the breasts is narrower and consequently the breasts are pointier, and my nipples are also puffy (they rarely are hard, only when I'm cold).

What I meant to ask is - is this type of breasts really that rare? What do men think of them? They don't exactly fit into the usual image of breasts we come across in mainstream media and that has always confused me...

    i have all the confidence in the world when it comes to my looks . But I too have the exact puffy drooped out breasts your describing and i've hid them my entire life. They're always holding me back.

    It took me eight months to finally rip my bra off with my boyfriend one night and now he likes to suck on them and says they're perfect. I don't know whether he's being honest or not but all that matters is that he's happy that I trust him an share myself with him and I'm happy that I feel loved and can have fun with my boobs:D

    Now that i'm in my 20s, i'm trying to put aside a few G's to get my areolas reduced. One day i'll have those teeny little Hershey kiss nipples i've always wanted. As long as you remember that you are one of God's fingerprints, it is okay to asthetically please yourself.

    I think it's probably quite normal. I don't know what men think, but never ever trust the media.

    Banana boobs? I got 'em. I don't think they're the prettiest but they do their job. My mom has them too and, I know this is kind of weird, but they look better with age and weight gain.

    My breasts look exactly the way you're describing. It has been awful for me. I have been hiding them too. I've never had a sexual partner just because of them. I'm ashamed of my body because of them.
    I tried several times to accept them and love myself the way I am... I can't do it.
    I always find excuses for not having sex because I'm too ashamed to tell the truth.
    I have found myself in bad situations many times throughout my life and as a kid... Might sound wrong but this has been the most painful thing for me.
    It's just so unfair.

    I had to go to the web to see what you were talking about. To be honest none of the breasts looked stereotypically firm and perky, they just looked like any average pair of breasts. When you find someone to love you they will not define you by your breasts.

    Boobs are boobs. Also so you know all breasts get stiff when cold.
